PROVO, Utah.—August 24, 2005— SirsiDynix announced today that Utah Governor Jon M. Huntsman, Jr., visited the company's Provo office this morning as part of his economic development program to improve the competitive environment in Utah for small- and medium-sized companies. Governor Huntsman greeted SirsiDynix employees at a reception held in his honor and met with executives Don McCall and Jack Blount to hear about the company's vision and information management solutions for libraries and their users. SirsiDynix's Provo office employs close to 200 people out of a total of approximately 700 employees worldwide involved in the development, support, and delivery of technologies that support more than 20,000 libraries and 200 million people around the world.
