Mike Zackrison, Vice President of Product Management

Mike Zackrison brings a strong background in product management and marketing leadership to his new role as vice president of product management at SirsiDynix. Having spent more than a decade working on major academic software systems – learning management systems (LMS), student information systems (SIS), enterprise portal and content management systems – Mike understands the needs and collaborative nature of the knowledge enterprise. Prior to joining SirsiDynix, Mike worked on behalf of University of Southern California as lead product manager for the Kuali Student software project. Prior to that, Mike served as vice president of marketing and strategy at rSmart, leading marketing and product management for the education-developed open source application company. In addition, Mike has experience in product management, strategic planning, and sales and marketing at technology companies such as Ingenix (a division of United HealthGroup), TenFold, and U.S. Robotics Corp. (acquired by 3Com). He received his MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and bachelor degrees in finance and German from the University of Utah.
