SirsiDynix 2017 Webinars: New Year, New Lineup
In 2016, our digital events team did more than 100 webinars! Our webinars taught you more about your Horizon, Symphony, and BLUEcloud solutions. Guest speakers talked about selecting and implementing an ILS, ethics in librarianship, marketing on a shoestring, and the future of library technology. It was a great year of continued learning.
We’d like to keep up the momentum in 2017. We’re rolling out our list of this year’s webinars with some changes and some returning favorites. There are six different series coming your way. Check out the list below to find out what’s new and find what interests you.
Please note that the dates and times listed below are subject to change. See the webinar registration page for the confirmed scheduling.
Library Professionals Series
The Library Professionals series is a series of monthly webinars that explore hot topics in librarianship, common or new issues libraries face, and information industry concerns.
As a sub-category of our LPS series, you’ll see a few Ahead of the Curve webinars. These are a new type of webinar in which the audience—you—get to drive the conversation. When registering for the webinar, follow the link to submit the questions you want to ask the speaker; during the webinar our host will relay your questions to the speaker for discussion. We tried out this Q&A format for the first time in December 2016 with Marshall Breeding. Your questions made for a great discussion. We look forward to hosting more Ahead of the Curve webinars, and giving you the opportunity to ask industry thought leaders your questions.
All sessions are broadcast at 1:00pm EST/10:00am PST.
