LEHI, UTAH (June 16, 2014) –Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service (CCRLS), a 17-member library system covering the three counties surrounding Salem, Oregon, announced that it has signed a 7-year agreement with SirsiDynix. CCRLS chose the Symphony ILS, SirsiDynix SaaS hosting service, and a broad range of BLUEcloud products including the eResource Central digital content management system, MobileCirc mobile client, BookMyne+ customized mobile app, and Enterprise discovery tool. CCRLS’s Enterprise instance will feature SirsiDynix’s robust integration with EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS).

“We spent the last two years examining options and we believe we’re getting the best system available,” said John Goodyear, CCRLS Director. “We’re thrilled with the full set of features in the system and look forward to a long, productive relationship with SirsiDynix.”

“We’re incredibly excited to partner with CCRLS,” said Bill Davison, SirsiDynix CEO. “BLUEcloud stands for Best Library User Experience, and we’re ready to start working with CCRLS to deliver the next-generation LSP experience to their staff and patrons. CCRLS will get end-to-end eResource management with eRC, a lightweight mobile client that lets staff cut ties to their desktops with MobileCirc, and more than 99.9% uptime with SirsiDynix SaaS hosting. In addition, their Symphony maintenance entitles them to powerful web clients like BLUEcloud Cataloging for no additional cost. We’re committed to providing the tools systems like CCRLS need to continue their success in the 21st century.”

CCRLS is a 17-member public library system serving Marion County, Polk County, and parts of Yamhill and Linn counties in Oregon. Coinciding with CCRLS’s migration to Symphony, the Chemeketa Community College library will migrate from CCRLS’s previous system to the Orbis Cascade Alliance. CCRLS currently manages a combined catalog of over 1,260,000 items and serves over 282,000 patrons.
