MobileCirc, available in summer 2013 for both SirsiDynix Horizon and Symphony libraries, is a portable client for circulation, inventory, and shelving tasks. • Mobile circulation. MobileCirc allows library staff to perform common circulation tasks like check-ins, checkouts, and renewals. Staff can also register new users by scanning driver’s licenses or by manually entering user information.
• Flexible Inventory. MobileCirc integrates with Bluetooth scanners to make taking inventory faster and easier.
• Efficient Shelving. MobileCirc provides real-time lists of candidates for weeding and items needed to fill holds. MobileCirc lists include filters designed specifically for library staff.
