Bill DavisonChief Executive Officer
Bill Davison is SirsiDynix's chief executive officer, responsible for all SirsiDynix corporate functions—finance, administration, library relations, product development, marketing, and sales. Prior to serving as CEO, Bill held the position of chief operating officer (COO), responsible for the company's sales, implementations, and client care organizations. Bill brings 24 years of experience in executive leadership positions for sales, marketing, and services, including four years previously as the COO and CMO of SirsiDynix (from 2002-2007).
Bill has served as CEO of the American Academy, an accredited e-Learning entity delivered in a SaaS model, and COO of Alpha Bay Corporation, a cloud-based retail operations technology provider. Prior to SirsiDynix, Davison served as vice president of sales and customer delivery at Raindance Communications.
Davison received his bachelor's degree in economics from the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Massachusetts and his MBA with emphases in finance and operational management from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
Scott WheelhouseSenior Vice President of Operations
Scott Wheelhouse is the Senior Vice President of Operations at SirsiDynix with responsibility for Customer Support, Professional Services, and SaaS/Cloud. Scott is in his second “tour of duty” with SirsiDynix combining for over 17 years of leadership experience in Product Management, Operations, Product Development, and Data Services.
During his years away from SirsiDynix, Scott directed the product roadmap for a learning management software company; was a partner in the startup of a business that creates digital collections for libraries, museums, and archives; and refined his operations skills as a Director at Philips Electronics responsible for the design, manufacturing, logistics, and regulatory affairs of both consumer and medical devices.
Scott’s degrees in Information Systems and his MBA were both earned at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah – but his practical education in Operations comes from the day-to-day experience gained in a home with eight children.
Berit NelsonVice President of Library Relations
For Berit Nelson, the pursuit of library science began on the path to law school when she talked to a law librarian and found herself drawn to the information side of the industry. Perhaps serendipitously – we like to think so – her plans detoured once again in the library science program when she found herself gravitating more toward the automation and programming courses.
The rest was history, and she’s been bridging specialties every since, translating library needs into SirsiDynix action items to improve the way libraries function.

Brad WhittleVice President of Global Sales
Brad Whittle is SirsiDynix’s Vice President of Global Sales. He is responsible for direct and distributor sales throughout the company’s three major worldwide regions: Americas, EMEA and APAC. Brad has over 23 years experience in enterprise software sales including 17 years working with libraries.
During his time away from libraries, Brad worked with state and local governments helping them grow eGovernment services with NIC (NASDAQ: EGOV), developed marketing and sales solutions to better secure eCommerce transactions with Digital Signature Trust, and helped launch technology start-up Alpha Bay to bring leading edge technologies such as Service Oriented Architecture to Fortune 500 retailers.
Whittle received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.
Scott AskewGeneral Counsel and Corporate Secretary
J. Scott Askew is SirsiDynix’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He is responsible for the legal department and advising the company on all legal matters including strategic relationships, disputes, intellectual property, governance, and human resources.
Scott’s experience includes time as Assistant General Counsel of the publicly-traded U-Haul International and as an attorney at the prominent Phoenix, Arizona law firm of Fennemore Craig. He also spent a decade as the founder, President, and General Counsel of an apparel business named Utah’s 23rd fastest growing company in 2006 and 50th fastest growing company in 2007.
Mr. Askew received both his BS Accounting and JD from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He passed bar exams in Arizona, Utah, Idaho and Washington.
Rick BranhamVice President of Global Accounts & Alliances
Rick has 25 years of experience with SirsiDynix including support, product management, business development, marketing, and sales. Since 2010, Rick has led the Asia-Pacific region, and in 2014 resumed his role in assisting accounts and partners globally with getting the most from the robust and flexible SirsiDynix products and services. He is also now leading the development initiative for BLUEcloud Campus, a library services platform targeting the needs of Higher Education.

Sheridan RicheyVice President of Product Management and Software Development
As Vice President of Product Management and Software Development, Sheridan oversees all aspects of the software development life-cycle at SirsiDynix, including product management, development, testing, and documentation. Sheridan proves to be a vital part of the SirsiDynix team, as creating top notch library software would not be possible without him.
Prior to joining SirsiDynix in 2011, Sheridan spent 12 years at ADP AdvancedMD where he helped build one of the first web-based enterprise-grade applications in history. As a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner, Sheridan also demonstrates a great passion for Agile development.
Sheridan has a degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and is the father of 5 rambunctious boys.
Barbara PacutVice President of EMEA Operations & Sales
Barbara Pacut is Vice President of Sales and Operations for SirsiDynix, EMEA. Prior to this role, from 2007 to 2010, she held the position of Vice President of Operations, International overseeing Client Care, Professional Services, and Cloud Services for all regions outside of North America.
Barbara came to SirsiDynix 23 years ago as a qualified librarian with several years’ experience working at the University of London, Senate House, and latterly in software sales. She joined the then distributor, Sirsi Ltd, in the UK office in Potters Bar as a Customer Support Consultant answering support calls, training, and project managing, before being promoted to Support Manager and later Customer Services Director for EMEA.
Barbara holds an MA degree in Library and Information Studies from University College London and a BA Hons degree in Spanish and German from the University of Southampton.
Eric KeithVice President of Marketing and Strategic Alliances
Eric Keith is the Vice President of Global Marketing and Business Development for SirsiDynix. He oversees corporate communications, media relations, and strategic partnerships. Previously, Eric has served as Chief Sales Officer, VP of Operations, VP of Business Development, and other managerial positions at SirsiDynix.
Eric has been at Dynix and SirsiDynix for a total of 17 years between 1989 and the present. In between his time with SirsiDynix, he has worked as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at several companies, including Footnote.com, Change Anything, Flipdog.com, Digital Signature Trust, as well as President of Naviset Inc.
Eric has a degree in Information Management from Brigham Young University. He and his wife Jennifer have six children and reside in Orem, Utah.
Tim HydeVice President of Professional Services
As VP of Professional Services, Tim brings over 22 years of technology experience in professional services, operations, and IT. He manages the worldwide services organization including the management and delivery of all customer implementations for SirsiDynix products. During the course of his career, he has held several roles with increasing responsibilities in sales, operations, SaaS, and IT.
Tim joined SirsiDynix in 1995 from IBM where he led IT teams dedicated to helping K-12 education though the use of technology.
Tim earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Business Management with an emphasis on information systems.
Jeff SmithVice President of Client Services at EOS International
Jeff Smith is Vice President of Client Services at EOS International. He has over 25 years of experience in the library automation and knowledge management field and over 10 years of experience in managing client services for international organizations.
Smith has spent 25 years with EOS International, formally Data Trek, Inc., beginning his career in product development positions before promoting to Director of Client Services. In 2009, Smith was appointed Vice President of Client Services, where his responsibilities include implementation of the EOS.Web products, training services, and running the international call center operations.
In 2005, Smith left EOS International and worked for California Instruments, now Ametek – a two-billion dollar enterprise. He managed their customer services and commercial operations departments until 2009.
Smith holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and Information Systems from San Diego State University.
David KingVice President, New Accounts
As Vice President of New Accounts at SirsiDynix, David works closely with prospective customers to help them become familiar with SirsiDynix’s BLUEcloud suite of products, services, and industry-leading support. His deep knowledge of product management and the development process enables him to provide prospective customers key information critical to making a decision for the industry’s best Library Services Platform.
Before SirsiDynix, David worked for Dynix from 1990 to 1999 in project management and sales. He went on to be the Director of IT at Channel Point for four years, but returned to SirsiDynix in 2003. David has held numerous positions since then, including Sales Director, Senior Director of North America Sales, and Vice President of Product Management.
David graduated from BYU with a degree in Business Management in 1986, where he also lettered in football, basketball, and track. He lives in American Fork with his wife, Kathy, and is the father of five daughters and two sons.
John MartinVice President of Finance
John Martin is SirsiDynix’s Vice President of Finance. John is responsible for the accounting, financial analysis and budgeting functions. John has been with Sirsi since 2008, originally in the role of Controller before being promoted to his current position.
John has well over 10 years of experience in the software industry ranging from startups to international companies including Novell and LanDesk. During John’s career John has also worked in the financial service and government industries and in public accounting.
John received both is BS in accounting and Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. John is a CPA and CGMA and a member of both the AICPA and UACPA. John, his wife Michelle, and their two children reside in Springville, Utah.
Chris HarrisVice President of Sales (Americas)
As the VP of Sales for SirsiDynix (Americas), Chris works closely with customers from Canada to Argentina. His responsibilities include overseeing a team of dedicated Account Managers and making sure all SirsiDynix customers receive the best products, services and support available in the library marketplace. Chris has been working with library technology companies since 2000 and has been with SirsiDynix since 2006. Prior to joining SirsiDynix, Chris served as the VP of Sales and Marketing for Integrated Technology Group specializing in both hardware and software solutions for libraries. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising from The University of Georgia.
