What Is Connections Summit: Academic Edition?
Connections Summit: Academic Edition—is a free, online conference for all academic libraries worldwide—even those who are not customers of SirsiDynix. The 4-hour virtual event is divided into two parts. For the first two hours, all are invited to hear from Open Access (OA) experts and fellow academic librarians in sessions about the OA movement and how it can benefit your library. In the second half, learn how SirsiDynix is meeting the Open Access needs of the academic community with CloudSource OA, our new open access product.
What is Open Access?
Open Access content is legally available, licensed content for anyone anywhere in the world to find, read, and reuse without permission or fees. OA has caused a huge shift in the way libraries operate, and Connections Summit: Academic Edition aims to explore those changes through fast-paced, inclusive sessions from experts in the industry.
