February 23rd, 2016
February 23, 2016 WATFORD, UK—SirsiDynix is pleased to announce that the City of London has gone live with SirsiDynix Symphony in a SaaS hosted environment. The City of London chose SirsiDynix, following a tender to replace the City of London’s Capita library management system.
Sara Pink, Head of Guildhall Library, City Business Library and Information Services, said “I am delighted to be working with SirsiDynix. Their library management system is intuitive, with great look and feel qualities, and this has considerably modernised our E-offer. The support and service we have received from the team at SirsiDynix, from the very beginning of the tender exercise through to the hosted live environment, has been exceptional and I thoroughly recommend them to anyone considering a review of their system.”
The City of London also selected SirsiDynix Enterprise, eResource Central, MobileCirc and BLUEcloud Analytics. Enterprise and eResource Central will provide users with intuitive, seamless web-based access to all library resources including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eJournal collections and online databases. With MobileCirc staff are able to carry out circulation and stock management functions anywhere via a tablet app. BLUEcloud Analytics provides City of London staff with powerful browser-based reporting capabilities.
