June 13, 2023, LEHI, UT—SirsiDynix, a leading provider of library technology solutions, is pleased to welcome two new employees to the company’s CloudSource team: CloudSource Product Director Katie Glaeser, and CloudSource Customer Success Manager Chris Cool.
Glaeser comes to SirsiDynix from the Knight-Capron Library at University of Lynchburg, where she worked as an electronic resources librarian. With a Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies from the University of Lynchburg, Glaeser specializes in leveraging research and data to optimize digital infrastructure, collections, and workflows. In her role as product director of CloudSource, Glaeser will collaborate with both customers and SirsiDynix’s dev/ops teams to facilitate innovative product updates that will steward CloudSource into the future.
Cool, who previously served as director of integrated resources at WT Cox Information Services and holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas, brings expertise in electronic resource management; product development; technical support; and world-class customer service to the role. As customer success manager, Cool will work as the key liaison for CloudSource customers, delivering a seamless experience with the product by providing successful implementations, maximizing usage, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
This team expansion comes at a particularly pivotal moment for CloudSource, the only comprehensive discovery platform that aggregates and fully exposes the global body of open access and open educational resources. This quarter, CloudSource will achieve the largest increase in adoption since its inception in 2021, enlarging the existing customer base of 360 institutions. Later this year, CloudSource will also announce the general availability of CloudSource+, which will add more than one billion records for licensed resources to the existing 56 million open access articles, eBooks, and open educational resources.
