LEHI, Utah (March 23, 2015)—Covington County Library System (CCLS), a three-member system in Mississippi, has signed a seven-year agreement with SirsiDynix. In addition to selecting the Symphony Integrated Library System, CCLS has also selected Enterprise, eResource Central (eRC), and SMS Notifications.

“We are looking forward to the move to SirsiDynix,” said James Pinkard, Director of CCLS. “I have several years of experience with their ILS, and I believe our staff will be well served by its robust and accessible functionality. I also believe our patrons will appreciate many features of the system, particularly eResource Central, SMS Messaging, and BookMyne.”

A number of BLUEcloud products will be available to CCLS for no additional cost, such as BookMyne, Universal Admin, and BLUEcloud Cataloging.

“The BLUEcloud Library Services Platform will not only benefit Covington County Library System on a library software level, but also on a community level,” said SirsiDynix CEO, Bill Davison. “Library staff will find tremendous value in streamlined workflows and endless training opportunities—at the same time, Covington County’s patrons will be able to download eResources straight onto their mobile devices through eRC, interact with Facebook users through Social Library, and experience unique discovery experiences through Enterprise. We’re looking forward to partnering with CCLS in giving its community the Best Library User Experience possible.”

Covington County Library System consists of R.E. Blackwell Library in Collins, MS, Jane Blain Brewer Library in Mount Olive, MS, and Connor-Graham Library in Seminary, MS and has a combined total of 33,000 titles and 2,000 patrons. CCLS selects SirsiDynix Symphony over its previous ILS, Polaris.
