SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (March 15, 2013) – SirsiDynix, the world’s leading provider of library automation solutions, revealed SirsiDynix MobileCirc at COSUGI 2013. MobileCirc, available in summer 2013 for both SirsiDynix Horizon and Symphony libraries, is a portable client for circulation, inventory, and shelving tasks. MobileCirc will be released as an Android or iOS app or as a browser-based web app.

“MobileCirc gives library staff a streamlined set of circulation features they can carry with them into the stacks,” said SirsiDynix CTO Talin Bingham. “With MobileCirc, the information you need from your ILS is always at hand. Some libraries may use MobileCirc as a lightweight circulation client that lets their staff go where their community needs them; others will use it for daily shelving tasks or yearly inventory. It’s available for iOS, Android, and as a browser-based application for laptops and desktops, making it easy for libraries to adapt it to their needs.”
