May 19, 2016, LEHI, UT—The first quarter of 2016 has been a robust period of growth for SirsiDynix and its libraries. SirsiDynix is pleased to welcome 29 new libraries to the family of BLUEcloud customers. SirsiDynix’s new customers represent a variety of library sizes and types. Joining from locations across the globe, new customers include libraries such as Fenimore Art Museum, Lawrence Public Library, Boone County Public Library, Santa Clara County Free Library, Kent Archaeological Society, and City of Stirling, Western Australia.

New additions to the SirsiDynix community include 7 libraries joining EOS.Web, 15 libraries joining an existing SirsiDynix consortium, and 7 stand-alone libraries adopting SirsiDynix solutions. Of the libraries joining a consortium, 9 will join a hosted system. Another 8 of the new SirsiDynix libraries have chosen to adopt the industry-leading SaaS solution, while 11 existing SirsiDynix customers have also chosen to move to the flexibility and dependability of hosting. SirsiDynix SaaS ensures libraries 99.95% uptime and offers ISO 27001 certified security.

“We’d like to extend a warm welcome to the new customers who have chosen SirsiDynix,” said SirsiDynix CEO Bill Davison. “Supporting and empowering the work of our customers is our highest priority. More and more libraries are finding that SirsiDynix technology and the BLUEcloud vision is the best solution to help them succeed. Since the inception of BLUEcloud, SirsiDynix libraries have been supported by a forward-thinking solution, focused on creating the best library user experience.”

“The success of the BLUEcloud vision has put SirsiDynix on a well-defined and progressive path of development,” said Davison, “and the Q1 adoption numbers only reinforce the strength of our vision and our drive. We look forward to the coming months of 2016 and the opportunities it will bring for us to further serve our libraries.”
