LEHI, UT (June 10, 2015)—In March 2015, SirsiDynix’s SaaS solution was officially certified for compliance with the ISO 27001 security standard. SirsiDynix is now one of the only vendors in the industry to become certified to this rigorous standard.
Published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the ISO 27001 standard is used by many governments worldwide to indicate that security is properly implemented throughout an organization. Compliance with ISO 27001 ensures that senior management is aware of security and involved with assessing risks, and that the organization continuously improves its information security management system (ISMS).
In addition to this certification, SirsiDynix is the only company in the industry to earn an NIST SP 800-53 accreditation for its SaaS offering. This standard examines a system’s security on a granular level, covering such areas as corporate operations, technology, physical security, and incident response plans.
